Students majoring in business administration can take certain courses according to their chosen specialization. Whereas students who major in business management will take more courses with a broad range of knowledge in general.

In practical field, the difference is clear between graduates majoring in business management and graduates majoring in business administration with the following examples.

A business administrator will have duties in only one specific area. For example, this administrator will be responsible for accounting administration, IT administration, or office building administration.

Nature of works by business managers

Whereas business managers have higher level responsibilities. Usually, they are responsible for business development, cooperation with other companies, the company’s product lines, and others.

Differences in graduate graduates

The business department is indeed a fairly general department. Someone whose major is in business, both business management and business administration will provide many opportunities to work and develop their careers in various fields.
