Pakistan is a country where you would see different types of education system. However, there are 3 main types of education in Pakistan as stated by the current prime minister of Pakistan, Mr. Imran Khan. You can say public education system has its own features while private education system has special agendas. We should also not forget our Madrasah education in Pakistan. If we ignore them then we cannot get the high literacy rate in our country.

Types of education in Pakistan

Although education in private sector is not easy or cheap but still it is claimed that quality of education is possible in private institutes. The government is taking steps to improve the conditions of public sector institutes.

However, if we study the types of education in Pakistan then we will come to know that it is divided into six level.

1. Preschool education system (normally kids of 3-5 years get education under it)
2. Primary education system in Pakistan (it’s for students of class one to class 5 normally)
3. Middle education in Pakistan (it is for those students who study in class 6 to class 8^th)
4. High education system in Pakistan or SSC (in this system candidates study in class 9^th and class 10^th)
5. Intermediate or Higher Secondary School certificate system for students who appear in in class 11 and class 12^th (inter level education in Pakistan)
6. University education in Pakistan (it includes undergraduate degree programs and graduate degrees)

So these were some most important or prevailing types of education in Pakistan. One thing more about the system of education is the classification on the basis of boards of education. For example, you would see Punjab text Book board or board of intermediate and secondary education and O-level system. The students who want to get education in English medium schools they prefer O-level or A-level education in Pakistan.

Directing education in the right field makes it easy for us to achieve our goals.

Importance of Education for Career

Education besides being important for career is also very important to make humans better because it makes us civilized. In general, Education is the basis of culture and civilization.

Education makes us humans in real sense to think, analyze, and decide. Growing character in oneself is also a goal with education, so as to create better human resources.

Its Assists in the progress of a Nation. Education plays a role to represent a country in the world. We can gain power in United Nation, we can gain power in the world of technology, we can gain power in the world of health, we can gain superiority edge in the field of sports if we have specialized knowledge.

Education does not mean as having know-how about some stuff rather if we want to excel or if we want to have an edge in world then we must get specialized education. So that’s why a good human needs an education. In a competitive and complex world, education is the way to compete. Most of the philosophers realize that with a good education we can have good human beings for a society. So, types of education in Pakistan is not a fatal issue, the main concern is we should focus on the promotion of education in our villages or remote areas as well.
