Pakistan Military Academy Eligibility  

To appear in the PMA, a candidate must have a Pakistani nationality otherwise he won’t be considered eligible for the academy.

Along with the Pakistani nationality, he must have a domicile concerning Azad Kashmir and State Class-1 citizens.

Both male and female candidates are granted Admission in the PMA.

Candidates having 2 and 4 years of graduation can apply for the Pakistan Military Academy.

The age requirement for the Pakistan military academy is 17-23.

The civilians applying for PMA must be unmarried.

What are the educational requirements for the Pakistan Military Academy Admissions?

Candidate applying for the PMA should at least score 60% marks in his intermediate.

60% of marks are required for a bachelor. In this case, 50% of marks are also acceptable in the intermediate.

Candidates having the following domiciles can apply with 55% marks in intermediate as well,

Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan, Chitral, Cholistan Desert, Drawer Fort, Salamsar, Mojgarh, and Dingarh of Punjab, Tehsil Bala Kot (Naran Kaghan) in Mansehra, Tharparkar and Tehsil Umer Kot Sindh, District Neelum Azad Jammu Kashmir, and Kohistan.

Physical Requirements for PMA

  • Running: 1.6 km (1 mile) covered in 7 minutes and 30 seconds.
  • 15 Pushups should be covered in 2 minutes
  • 3 pull-ups or chin-ups in 2 minutes
  • 15 sits ups or abdominals in 2 minutes
  • The height of the male candidates should be 5 feet and 4 inches
  • The height of the female candidates should be 5 feet and 2 inches
  • Eyesight tests would also be conducted, so candidates must possess healthy eyesight
  • In case of color blindness or night blindness, candidates won’t be allowed to take admission in Pakistan Military Academy and their application will be rejected
  • The weight of the candidates would also be counted that should be according to the BMI
  • Candidates with flat feet and knock knees will also be rejected by the PMA
